Does anyone have the right numbers for a 03 mxz 800. Does 25lbs force with a measurement sound right, with 1.26" = or - 0.197??

Put on a diff belt recently adn noticed that the engagement rpm dropped 700 rpm, could this be becouse the belt is shorter???

Your measurements are correct. Lower engagement is most likely the result of a wider belt (not worn) and the new belt could possibly be a bit shorter. Adjust your belt deflection and you should be all set.
