I had a dyno-port silencer on my MXZ670. It saved weight, and it sounded cool, but it probably did nothing for power. It was not too loud, but much "throatier" at all speeds. However, I was always nervous with it around the DNR guys, as I did not want the ticket. I did go past a lot of DNR guys without a problem, but I was always nervous...
