We're thinking of crossing into Quebec from New Liskeard @ Notre-Dame-du-Nord then up to Amos for a night, then heading west to Cochrane.

How easy is it to buy permits in Notre-Dame-du-Nord? We don't want to run around the town looking.

I see on the Abitibi-Temiscaming sledding website that FCMQ permits were sold this winter @ Tri-Town Motosports & the Quality Inn in New Liskeard. Also Carlson Sports in North Bay.
