:hallo1: I was ready to head east to the big dirt track and see the usac non wing sprints run this weekend but they cancelled it earlier this week. guess the first race will be the outlaws @eldora :thumbsup: . we have the best of the best near here weekly, usac. gas city runs friday nights and then the old local bullring (kokomo) is sundays. that allows the drivers whom run usac, usually saturday nights, to run all. :cool: see you there.

Awsomee dooman. I hope to make it out to Eldora someday. We are going to our local dirt track tomorrow night, Lernerville. Its opening night. Calling for a nice sunny day, it will be chilly once the sun goes down though.

Sounds like a great time dooman! We also go to our local tracks quite alot during the summer. We have 3 local tracks which run the stock's, modifieds, supers, sprints,trucks, and the everlovin halftime show where to spectator drags take place. Crazy people taking there street cars out onto the track and risking it all.

Someday we will get to eldora too.. :thumbsup:

I should be clear I have been to eldora many times, just first this season. come on down. lernerville is a nice track as well , just to far to travel for a one nighter.

test and tune tommorrow at gas city I 69 speedway. the following friday(april 13th) begins the awesome season there :thumbsup: . best weekly non wing show in the country.

Made it to Lernerville last Friday. Biggest crowd Ive ever seen on an opening night. It was a beasutiful night, high of about 70 that day. Here we are a week later and there is an inch or two of snow on the track. Meant to take the digital camera and get some pics but forgot it.

USAC is supposed to come to Sharon Speedway (owned by Dave Blaney) this summer. Will have to go and watch them.

temps 28f now. I don't think many will be running their motors in these cool temps. guess it will be gas city friday night following with eldora on sat the 14th. :thumbsup:

they don't stand a chance past the first turn :) , in a 25 lap feature. I like drags but the rush of 820hp in a 1400 lb chassis sidways in the turn @ 3/4 throttle w00t ,on dirt of course is the best. Mike what you dooing next sat night? want to drive south to the big track ?

I doubt you would loose interest at eldora. maybe not like the dirt so much but you'll be on the edge of your seat.

my local 1/4 mile track is TORONTOMOTORSPORTPARK in cayuga,on .. i jump in my little motor home and spend alot of weekends at the drags. i love the PROMOD,S AND SUPERSTREET CARS. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
