ISR today approved the new C & A Pro race loop under the current ISR rules. C & A Pro skis with the new loops will be legal. New loops fit on all C & A Pro skis. Credit to the ISR for a fair ruling. Loops will be ready well in time for racing.

You've got to be kidding ??? :angry: !!! !!! Is that all that had to be changed? How much of a problem did the old ski loops cause? I can't imagine the timing lights in snoX being that low to the sno that the loops would have to be changed that little bit.

The rule has more to do with making sure the loop covers the tip of the ski, to take away some of the spearing effect, and to make the loop have more of an angle to avoid catching under sleds and mainly under helmets; at least that is how it was explained to me.
