Last weekend i took my sled out on the water. It stayed on top great but it seem to loose power on the water. I have a 1 3/8 inch track, but i was thinking that it could just be my snow flap holding too much water in the tonnel. My 98 583 didn't lose any power when i hit the water however i tied my snow flap up. Anyone else try their sled on the water yet this year?

I know it is not an cat, but last year I ran a ski doo formula 500 & found that I just had enough to make it across. Stock track (0.88 lug), no snow flap. This year it is a full blown water sled & it works awesome. 121-15-1.25 track, extended tunnel with snow flap, top gear was 25 now 20. Top speed, who cares. Now I can play w00t w00t I know the snow flap helps for turning but you loose top end. Also you start to loose top end when you use track lugs bigger then 1.25
Play around with your rear suspention, you should have no problem with a F7.
