I have it for PC and think it's a great game. The beach scene is absolutely amazing! Hard as heck too!!
I would wait for the price to drop some though for the PS2.

I've been playing it for awhile, it is a great game! The only problem I have w/ it is; There is always only 1 way to do things, only 1 way to go etc. It is to linear for me.This is good for not getting lost and wasting time, but I like to think my way through things a bit more. :)
I just started playing Hitman 2, this is a very nonlinear game where there are multiple ways to finish each level.

Wait till it sells 1 million copies and they'll change it's price to $20, that's what I do.

I've played it on PS2 and really like it. I won't buy games in the store anymore, to much money. Look on either half.com or ebay. You can usually get games for 20-30 dollars.

Definitely a cool game. Like ZR500 said, check out e-bay, I buy alot of PS2 games off from there at a fraction of the cost you pay at retail stores. SWRules

You can copy PS2 games if you have a DVD player which I do, I haven't yet but I know it can be done.....

Did I say DVD player? I meant DVD-RW drive, although they cost about 300 I feel I'm saving in the long run.........

Or just get the PS2 mod-chip and you can burn any of the NON DVD Rom PS2 games with a regular CD burner. A good burning program is Clone CD. The mod chip pays for itself with the first game that you "back up". ;)

I've seen a complete package of the modchip and software, I think they wanted 100 for it, don't you think I only need software if I have the DVD burner? the Modchip I know voids warranty...

If you have a DVD/DVD ROM burner you may be able to play burned games w/o the mod chip, but I'm not 100%. You'd have to try it and find out.
The chip I bought was about 75$ and came with Gameshark2 which is needed to initialy load the game. It has paid for itseld many times over!! :D

I would be careful playing with modchips in PS2s. They were very reliable in PS1s but everyone I know thats tried one in a PS2 has had it die after 6months or less. Also from what I know I don't thinkyou can get by without a modchip cause it holds a code.

Get in trouble for what? Making a backup copy? ;) The net is filled with cracks for just about any program you can think of. The guy in France was quite happy MOH was $80.00 in France at the time. I never sold him the copy I sold him the original and kept the copy. ;)

BTW I have a mod chip in my PS1 and it works great but I think I need to upgrade it. ;)

I have a mod chip in my old PS1 and PS2 and have had no problems with either. My PS1 has had the mod chip in for about 3 years now and the PS2 has had it for over a year now running strong. The reason people are frying them or it won't play DVDs is most likely because they are hooked up wrong. To me, even if the PS2 did fry, it would STILL pay for itself to get a new one and another chip just because of how many games you can get. $40-$50 a game adds up quick!
LadyK, "backing up" your computer games IS NOT illegal. It's illegal when you try to sell burned copies. By selling your original copy and keeping the burned one, you fall into that "gray" area.haha ;)

Sorry lady K I thought you sold the copy not the original. :sarcasm: My Bad :p
