hi I have a 94 Indy trail deluxe 488 f/c and am looking for a clutch kit for it, I was wondering if the pro kit from epi for 500 carb/efi 1996-?? would work on my 1994 ( if it is the same clutch ect.) thank you
also if anyone has any other kit company recomendations they would be appresiated thank you

yes all 50 clutchs are the same, i had a 1997 500 l/c and a 2002 500 l/c.. best clutch kit i had was from hot seat performance i have a purple secondary spring white primary 10/al weights and a 36s helix hope this helps.

Do not buy it

488 trail fan = 56hp

488 Indy 500 Liquid = 75-78hp

Way too big of a dif

Yes they are the same clutch BUT they are set up WAY diferent due to the hp diferences ie:weights springs

No you have to get the same clutch set up for that year sled.

BUT the best thing is to check sites as someone has a set up with stock weights and springs that Polaris has

I did the same with my Cat,I asked around and than tried diferent springs(new and used),weights and helixes(used)
