I really try not to get into this, but Kurt Busch needs to miss a few races. I hope NASCAR fines the heck out of him and makes him sit another one out. What was he thinking, pulling up beside Stewart in the pits??? He could have really hurt someone. NASCAR was right in sending him home.

Where did he get it in his mind that every racer except him is supposed to "give an inch" when he is involved in an altercation. First he blames his brother, when in that altercation he was in exactly the same situation as Stewart was in this one. He needs to quit taking his problems out on everyone else. Stewart has been doing a phenomenal job of driving this year and he is even keeping his temper under control. He has just been on the bad end of Lady Luck all year.

KURT GO HOME!!!!

I didn't get to see the race today but I will try to catch some highlights of it tonight... Yes Kurt is in his normal form I think. Tony Stewart will probably find a way to get even.

I know this much... My fantasy team suffered big...What in the heck was I thinking picking harvick?

I watched the race today. It was pretty good.

Here (http://www.nascar.com/multimedia/) is the link to NASCAR's media page. Check it out. I wish they had the clip of Busch whining about Stewart not giving an inch. He'll be driving just Busch cars before long.

If people would quit hammering on him, he would have a couple of wins on asphalt by now. Is he going to run on dirt somewhere Wednesday?

Yep. I am a Stewart fan. He's a great driver, he's brutally honest, and he says what's on his mind. Some people don't like that, but I respect him for it.

Jarrett/Toyota...yuk! Johnson and Gordon are good drivers, no doubt. I just don't think that they are as good of an all around driver as Stewart is.

Gordon started racing right down the road from me,,,, matter of fact, when he was 14 years old, he was driving for Campbell Racing and had his very first win,,,, matter of fact, I was there that night and have a picture of a 14 year old Jeff Gordon standing in front of his car with the trophy,,,, my nephew has taken the original to MIS and the Brickyard with him a couple of times to try to get it autographed,,,, one of these days.

Keith, you do realize that Tony rides cats right???? You trying to tell us that your actually a closet cat man?!?!?! w00t

I was always a tide car fan myself,,, well no Tide car so I was forced to join sides with Tony this year myself,,, I am not huge into it, but you gotta have a favorite,,,

Yep this Wednesday at the track he owns. Eldora Speedway.
Dooman posted a link to the info page.

Looks like it'll be an awesome race.
I'll have to see if Express Vue is carrying the race here in Canada.
Maybe if I get time, I'll rotate the dish to Dishnetworks.
They are carrying the race on Pay-per-View right?
Wish I could be there.

another young punk picking on you idooski :p ? stewart , and a few other top racers to take the late models on dirt. puree ,close but he did start racing out west in cali (age 5 in quarter midgets), only for john bickford to bring him to the midwest for his best shot at the big time. John is one heck of a guy and jeffs step father. I am told its HBO ppv ,and all the moneys goes the the victory junction camp. HBO picking up the tab.

Well Kurt's incident cost him.....He was docked 100 driver points, fined 100,000 and put on probation for the rest of the season. Penske was also docked 100 owner points for his drivers actions.

This took Kurt from 11th place in points to 17th and I would imagine that was the biggest blow.
There was talk of suspending him for the next race but apparently Nascar is happy with this decision.. ( could it be the money?) lol.

Kurt hasn't learned over the seasons apparently. Do you remember when Jimmy spencer just walked up to him and punched him in the face after an incident at Bristol?

I think he got off too easy. He should have had to sit out Pocono along with his other penalties. He came vary close to a pit crew member. That kind of crap is worth suspension.

Heck, Busch can't drive anyway. He crashed in practice today. His crash looked just like the move he put on Stewart when he ran him into the wall. What a loser!
