I have a 99 500 xc and i havnt changed to brake fluid on it. Right now it has 5132 miles. Should i change the fluid this year or not? And what kind do i use on my sled, is it all the same?

make sure its DOT 4. and its a pain in the balls to change i think, u gotta bleed everything.

Yes you should change it, every seasonor two is best, and read the resevoir cover or service manual, my 1998 doo takes dot4 and the wifes 2000 Polaris takes dot3. Put in what belongs, because brake fluids do supercede each other.
