If I was an electrician. I would not hesitate to come up to help. But I am just a Brazer for a small tool making company. I don't know anything about electical, and I wish I knew of someone who is or does know about it. SORRY. :(

I know a bit about wiring. I'm an Engineer, not an electrician. I do a lot of tinkering though. If it was the time of year that I come up a lot, I would be glad to help. The only problem is I'm super busy the next few weekends.
I think the bigest problem will be buying supplies. Wire is very expensive right now, with the price of copper being so high.
Good luck. If I can help through the internet at all, let me know.

Sorry about the rough times switch, hope it gets better . One word of advice about electricty... if it goes boom ,pop ,snap or make your hair stand up , its normally not good :dazed: I play with the basics but will not mess around in the panel box, knew a guy that got messed up poking and prying around in there.
Just be carefull and make sure the guy thats doing it knows what he's doing. Saving a few bucks is not worth a life or your house burning to the ground cause of a shortcut/ uneducated installer.
good luck

Probably a little late, but maybe I can talk you through it?? The only thing is, around here a lanlord would only do his own electrical work if he was looking for free room and board coutesy of the state as it's a class b felony. It's also a class b felony for me to do side work, yet I can do the same work for somebody else. Actually much more complex, as it's commercial/industrial 99% of the time. I have been a licensed electrician for a little over 4 years, but I don't have my masters which is nothing more than a license to do buisness as an electrician. The state gets more money from you and it's easier for them to keep tabs on you.
