As some may know I operate an oceanfront hotel just 12 miles south of Daytona Beach, FL. This weekend is the running of the Pepsi 400 night race and the town is slammed. The hotel is running wide open (which it does every year at this time) and we are enjoying it. Nice to have the race fans back in town.
Have a good weekend and, Go #24!

I bet business is booming. I had a good friend who was a student at Riddle and I spent my three spring breaks in college down there during bike week. He lived on Nova Rd real close to the track and airtport.
Man spring break and bike week all together. I wish I could remember how much fun we had.

I still think the only good thing about NASCAR is Talladaga Nights. That movie was hilarious.

Wow....what a race huh? Some big names taken out early, and who would have thought McMurry would win?
Tony Stewart was a little ticked but I don't know why....the mishap with Hamlin was a competitive racing wreck. It happens. ( Gibbs racing took a blow with that one )
Glad to know Kenseth was in the top 10 and remains in 3rd for the points race..
