I could not resist stopping and taking a picture of this. Even at that time we thought this price was too high!

I hate to even say this, but I wish I had a picture of the gas prices when I started to drive. It was 19.9 cents a gallon when they would get a price war going.

You guys make me feel young. I never paid attention to gas prices. I didn't start paying attention until I was moved out on my own. The lowest I remember paying was $.97. I Know I paid less than that, I just don't remember.

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't remember the low side of what I paid for gas......But I do remember paying 3.89 not too long ago. Today is was 2.88.

And Keith, to answer your question.. NO you do not look like him, You just have one heck of a memory. Sure is better than mine.. :D

The cheapest I can remember paying for gas was 19.9 ECONO at the Sunoco Station around 1970 in Flint, Michigan. The most I have seen was just last Monday at The Landing Strip gas station just outside of the Orlando Airport and they are asking $4.39 per gallon. I have to report that as gas gouging since just one black away a Mobil station was at $2.77.
What is up with that???????????
