I also just purchased a new ZR800 EFI and am just setting it up. My first two mods will be 192 studs and changing to a 25/38 gear set. I to would appreciate input from others who have experience from last winter with ZR800 EFI mods and setup. :)

I ran 25/38 gears, 62/54 helix with red/wht spring. Also installed 192 woodys, it pulled alot harder than stock.

i run an 800 efi as well, with the 25/38 did you lose any top end? ;) and what is the stock helix?

Well, the stock gearing is 24/39 or 1.63.

If you are looking for a set of gears to run if you drag the 800, I know that D&D runs 20/39 gears in their "stock" drag sleds with good results....

I ran 20/39 once and did it fly........ran out of gear at 80 but sure got there fast. I found that a reliable set up was stock clutching and gear 23/40
