For those of you that enjoy wrenching on your own rides, Princes Auto (Canadian version of Harbour Freight.) has a 1,000LB motorcycle lift table on sale for $350. Regular price is $500.

This is a similar model to the one I bought this spring but mine has an air-over-hydraulic lift mechanism. I've never pumped it up manually but I believe I've read in reviews it only takes around 35 to 40 pumps on a foot pedal.

This table is so sweet to work on your sleds and I'm sure it would be just as sweet for motorcycles.
It adjust from about 6 inches to over 40 inches.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that hasn't seen the ad.

Hey Jeff,

A "Mar" type lift is cheaper and you can run your sled on it. :lookaround:

Whats with all the plywood?

I've found sled lifts for just over $250 USD.

I have a Mar Type lift as well but I like this one much better as it's very stable.
The mar lift rocks too much side to side when working on it.

I can run my sled as well by hooking the overhead hoist onto the rear bumper and lifting the track off the table or lowering the table. Either way works fine.

Just a matter of personal preference.

As far as the plywood goes, I put it on the table because the studs and steel checker plate don't get along all that well. The front sheet is there to hold the skies up. It's bolted on. I'll be working on adding hinges to that part so that if I want to change the carbides or shocks, I just pull a support rod or 2 and allow the plywood under the ski to drop down.

I have a piece of track that I need to bolt onto the ramp to get onto the table. It'll maximize traction and not damage the steel ramp or the studs.

I wasn't trying to say that this is the ultimate set up for everyone. Just me. LOL
I posted it so that anyone that wanted one in Canada, could get one while they were selling for a good price.
