I heard rumor that the price of an RX-1 is going up. Like to 10-12K depending on dealer. My friend keeps telling me how glad he is that he ordered his in the spring. I keep telling him that they must be trying to recoup some money before the word gets out that they are getting smoked by 700's. :D :hallo3:
Is there any truth to this. Does anyone know.

It&#39;s now in both forums. ;)

All I know is that insurance prices are over 1000.00 closer to 1500.00 around here for a RX-1. A lot have cancled and went for REV 600s thats why bombi sold out.

I have a source that claims 10% more for next year. I bought a Honda XR650R the first year it came out, year 2 it went up about 10%.

Many manufacturers will do this, keep the price lower the first year to get more people on them, then when word gets out that it&#39;s a good product people will pay alittle more.

As far as insurance goes, I feel for you canucks :nervous:

The same thing happened when I got a new Dodge Ram in &#39;95, by &#39;97 the same truck was $2900.00 more. So it would not surprise me at all. Insurance for my RX1 in upstate NY is $68.00 US

My Rev is 900 somthing. I posted the exact price in another forum when i had the bill infront of me. Its sick.

My Mach is 734 or 738 somthing like that.

All I can say is the RX-1 is going to be huge. Thats if insurance companys deside to insure it.

Revrnd, its the same price as us, 56.00$ ud = 900.00$ cdn :)

Yeah,....the price is going up because they are adding these options as standard things :D

You should definately shop around if you are paying more than 300 a year. I have full coverage on my SRX which includes summer coverage (theft and any damage that occurs in the summertime) and I only pay 105 a year...oh and that includes my trailer.

I pay $86 yr (US)for my revx600 and $78 for my wifes 02 edge 500. Full coverage $500 deductable and that includes and extra $300,000 in liability.
