I've had it w/ my Dell All In One 924 printer :cussing: :bash: .
3 reasons:
The colour was never as good as my HP printer @ home
The cartridges are obscenely priced & only available thru Dell by mail order
Printer won't recognize refilled cartridges.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced all in one unit (prints, scans & copies)?

Revrnd there are a few of the dell model cartridges available at staples for less than $40. This is a far cry from the $100 that Dell wants. IMHO printers are a disposable item, buy the cheapest one you can as the cartridges are the same price as the printer. When the cartridge is done throw it away.

Canadian Tire has a wireless one on sale this week.
Handy for those on a laptop.

We have a hp psc 1350 all in one. I like it a lot. Very easy to use and have had no problems with it. I dont know about picture quality, dont have much to compare it with. The wife has printed some pictures and they have turned out relatively decent.

Jeff, I'll take the cartridges that I have to Staples & see if they have equivalents.
It's pretty bad when the printers are sold cheaper than the cartridges. I'd just as soon not throw out printers a couple of times a year.

I bought a Lexmark X8350 about a year ago, very nice color printing at a decent price. It has both a sheet feeder and a flat bed scanner, which for me is very handy. I'd at least look at one, or what ever model number that has probably replaced it by now.

I scored a free dell 964, the cartridges at staples in PTBO were for a 954 and older models. it was close to fitting in mine except for the bump on the top. I felt like taking a dremel to it.:) I also hate the fact that it does not recognize a refill.

Hey Kris
Jeff was right, TigerDirect.com has printers for the same cost as ONE ink cartridge.
Just do a search on there for printers.
Jacqui and I have used them for a couple of years now and their customer service is incredible.
I just ordered a new laptop from them last Thursday afternoon and it was waiting for me at work on Monday morning. Had it shipped there as I'm not home that often and courier companies need someone at home to sign for the delivery.
Good luck.
Let us know what you decided upon.
Jeff
