Police are looking for two men wearing masks and camouflage after a father and son were shot at their sporting goods store in Lapeer County Tuesday.
The two men went into Smitty's Sporting Goods on North Lake Pleasant Road in Arcadia Township around 5 p.m. dressed in camouflage, the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department said. While one of the men stole money and guns, the other shot Robert Smith Sr., 58, and Robert Smith Jr., 35, who were working inside the store, according to Local 4 reports.
The father was taken to Lapeer Hospital where he died of gunshot wounds, according to the Sheriff's Department. The son is in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center in Flint.
The Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information on the suspects to call (810) 664-1801.
