BLADEGUY 10-30-2002, 02:48 PM I have a 2000 Grand Touring 600 with 5000 miles on it. I have never done any maintenance on the clutch. It is working fine. As there are wear items in the clutch, is it time for me to do some maintenance. What should I do/check? z36qc 10-30-2002, 04:33 PM Hi Bladeguy, on your tra cluch(engine clutch) just a cleaning is optionnal.I have a 24500 milles Mach-Z and after 20,000 milles i change only bushing (they were in good condition)! On the secondary cluth(the bigger one) ,i suggest you to change the 2 bushing and the 3 nylon slider after 5 to 6000 milles and to clean the clutch.I will prolong life of all clutch componements and your sled will shift better!
