I have a fiberglass tank on my safari. The gas in it is like 2-3 yrs old but dried up and it stinks. Whats the best method to clean these out? Thanks!

I use a mix of 1 can fuel system cleaner (STP) and equal amount of Varsol. Put a handful of junk nuts and bolts and give the tank a darn good shake. You get all the crap out and nice clean fasteners to boot. Use the fluid remnants as fire starter.

I just cleaned a 1968 alpine tank the fuel was in the tank for so long it had a tar like coating inside the tank.I used a can of carb cleaner and it broke down the left over fuel and cleaned it right up my dad and I were amazed.
