i own a 91 ext 550, i think that its a great little sled. i've had a couple of things done to it like 40mm carbs, bored out, heads been shaved and it been ported and polished i also got a really mean set of black magic pipes, there extremely loud :D. i know the engine can pull a higher gear ratio at 7000RPM i can give it a little shot of speed and it will be riding on my flap. has any of you guys re geraed your machines? any advise. added a pic of my sled just so you guys can see

i always thought it was a 91, cause it came with a 91 owners manual.

im 100% sure its a 92 the 91's have diff front suspension and they were ulgy ill try to find a pic of a 91 for ya

Team rctic, that is a 91 special, the 91's were different yet. They had a 88-91 widcat hood with different stripes. The 91 had greenpurple and ?pinkish? stripes. I had one great sled, had 7,000 miles on it in 95 when I sold it. It was custom striped etc... and said "pure extasy" on the hood. Kevin
