yes I seen the hit it was nasty in my opinion he did run him cheap he left his feet I thought....they do not play hockey like they used to when men where men.....if they had a problem they would drop the gloves and get it on...when it was done they moved on..

if you try to take fighting out of hockey this is what you get leave the fighting alone...

I love hockey all kinds I even like watching the young kids play...

I am so glad that osme of the new kids are coming into the game. They are the ones who are not afraid to throw their body around.

Further to his NHL suspension I see Steve Downie is now suspended from the AHL for 1 month for his hit.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Downie gets somebody cleanly when his head is down. It's just a matter of time.

i know it was a cheap shot, but i think it was awesome

I think the only thing that is different from Tootoo's hit here and Downie's hit is about 2 seconds.

(although one could argue Downie leaving his feet)
