So here's the story....

I'm on a misson last night to find the Sears store in the Westgate Village shopping center (near Toledo, OH), and was going off of directions from the Sears website....bad idea. So I'm driving up and down Airport Hwy (which is under construction), looking for this Westgate Village s/c (keep in mind I am not familiar with this area) and can't find it, which is where "sears" said it was. So I decide head a little north and try it one street up...no luck there either. So, buy this time I'm getting pretty frustrated :cussing: and am trying to think of who to call that would know this area well.......hhhmmm......then it hit me! Who else but the UPS man himself! Dave! So I gave Dave a call and he gave me the CORRECT directions...to a "t". They were spot on! I finally made it to the Sears store and got what I was looking for.

So, I just want to give a BIG THANKS to Dave for helping me out last night!! You the MAN! I owe you a beer the next time I see ya!

you lose my Number?

I work 2 miles from there and my current project includes the pavement drainage from that sears.[/b]

Nope, didn't realize you worked that close. Plus, Dave was the first person that popped in my head...I figured since he's worked for UPS for a while he should know the area pretty well.

Where you at Dave?? I figured you'd be all over this thread?

Will do!

Did yuo need some tools? You know there is a sears hardware on Lewis just North of the Border, A lot closer to you.[/b]

Yup, I knew about that store, but only one place around the area had some in stock of what I wanted.

He made a major purchase![/b]

I wouldn't call it a major purchase, maybe a minor one. :p

To let all of you in on what I bought....it was this (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00916728000P?vName=Tools&keyword=air+compressor). I think I got a pretty good deal on it. The store I got it from had it for $276, but the guy price matched it from the website and then beat the price by an additional $8.99! I walked out the door with it for $182!!! Not bad!!! w00t
