The west coast of Newfoundland. Endless miles and miles of terrian like that.

Thanks for that NB.

Jacqui and I toured the east coast of Newfoundland on the Irish Tour of the Avalon Peninsula from St.John's. to St. Shotts to Pouch Cove. Did the Puffin and Whale Watch tours, took the ferry over to Bell Island, toured the iron ore mine there. Ate enough fish to be able to swim home. Unfortunately, after getting sea food so fresh, I just can't be satisfied with any dishes in the restaurants here. One of our delegates ordered lobster at a restaurant on a pier, they told him that the fishing boat was just docking and it would be a minute. He watched them walk his lobster off the boat and into the kitchen and onto his table. Talk about fresh. LOL.
Had a great time. I was amazed at the variety of the topography of the land there. Experienced the down home friendly hospitality the east coast is so well known for around the world. Saw Rick Mercer. Met the more famous, George Mercer, our cabbie. LOL He was awesome. He took us on a tour of St. John's showing us all of the details only a local would know. Had Danny Williams, their Conservative Premier talk to us. He's more socially liberal than many Liberals and New Democrats I know. There's a man that truly cares about his people. We hope he wins the election on Tuesday.
If he ran for Prime Minister, He'd win the hearts and the votes of the people in a heart beat.

A friend of mine has what he calls his cottage but it's an awesome year round house right in Gross Mourne National Park. He'll be retiring there in a few years. I'm hoping to make it out there sometime after that in the winter. He says the riding is just amazing out there.

Someday.

Hey ZLZEBUB, did I not see your sled featured in a recent Arctic Cat magazine? If not then it was one that looks just like your avatar.

Back in the last century you used to see a lot of ZRT's, stretched out with deep lugs. Awesome machines going straight up a hill.
