Well I am trying a new product to quit smoking and so far it's 24 hours with hardly a crave. The hard part is the people at work that still smoke are always around. My bro in law used the same stuff and quit in 5 days with complete success. I hope I have the same luck. ;)

My wife wants to quit now and is trying to get me to also, but that would be like me giving up sledding!! Not gonna happen just yet. ;)

Well Honey. I knew you couldn't be perfect, and I finally found out one of your flaws.

Chicks are much sexier when they don't smoke.

But, with all your plus's, I guess I can get over it :inlove: :inlove:

and way to go Arctic, stick with it. Think of all the extra money you will have for sleddin'.

And you will get more miles on also, since you won't be stopping for as many smoke breaks.

When on a sled I could go for hours without stopping for a smoke, I never missed it until I thought about it. I never let it make me stop for a smoke break, but when you're talkin' $40/week for smokes and your daughter gets old enough to say "daddy, you stink like smoke", it's past due.

Stick with it ZRT600,I've been almost 2 months without a smoke,my wife says I'm almost fun to be around again, for the first month I was pretty much a grump.
Now I'm feeling better and saving that 5 bucks a day don't hurt :D

i used to smoke pretty heavily... i am now content with smoking socially and on the trail... i dont think i could ever go cold turkey but i can still run 5 miles in 40 minutes so I am proud.... keep it up... when you get to the point when you realize how gross it is then you will be happy :p

After smoking 2-3 packs a day for 20 odd years I tried the nicoderm patch and I can't believe how easy it was for me to quit, I wasn't even that psyched up to start quiting,(I got dragged into it because my wife was quitting)but it was very easy. That was 6 1/2 years ago.:D Not a single cigarette in that time. All I can say is if you haven't tried them give the patch a try,I wish I had much sooner. They don't work for everyone I quess, but they did for me.

I came home from work last night to a carton of cigarettes. My wife said either I start smoking again or she is divorcing me. I am now known as SCB, super cranky bastrd. Not too encouraging is it?
