My Grandpa passed away yesterday at 3pm. He was 87 years young and he was my Superhero! This guy was still bowling the day before he went into the hospital, he was carrying 187 avg. In my lifetime he never one time complained about anything. He was married to my Grandma for 66 years....The met when my Grandma was 9 and Grandpa was 13 and were together eversince. He served in World War II and was on the ship that took the bomb over. He worked at Holley carburetor for 40 years, as a tool and die man. It was very hard for me to sit in a room with him and grandma and hold his hand for the last couple of hours of his life. He was a big strapping man who had whittled down to nothing in the last couple of years. Jen was a trooper and was there with me! If you have a few seconds please sign the guestbook. http://www.harryjwillfuneralhome.com//inde...g=Message+saved (http://www.harryjwillfuneralhome.com//index.php?option=com_akocomment&func=view&id=806&Itemid=99999999&mosmsg=Message+saved)

Sorry to hear of your sad news Mike.
Sounds like he lived a long fruitful life and gave of himself unselfishly.

May happy memories soon replace the pain, sorrow and loss you now feel.
You and your family are in our prayers.

I met Mike's Grandpa about 5 years ago, shortly after we started dating. He was ALWAYS nice & happy to see or hear from us. You could tell how much he truly loved his family, especially his "doll" :inlove: ... Mike's Grandma.

It was hard, though, to see him struggle for a simple breath. He wanted to be up & around... and with his wife. He will be missed... & loved!
