well, ive built another lego sled. Ive upgraded to a rev chassis.

I made a custom trailer for it too. The truck i made a while ago

Ramp is stored under trailer (pull out) during traveling

This i believe is the best sled ive done so far. It is the closest representation of a sled ive ever made. It has real working belt, working chain, working track, working front and rear suspension, real moving engine, and the hardest part, real steering. Also has a riser.

if you want to see more of the truck click here -> http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p168/noname11445/ it has a bunch of cool stuff on it

sorry about the quality of pics, camera sucks at taking close ups. LOL, just looked at the camera, didnt realize there was a micro setting, well, now i know

um, it took all together maybe 5 hours. I usually spent a few hours a night, like from 9-10:30. Ill just sit in bed, turn on discovery channel and build legos. Once i do a big project like this though i usually take a brake. The hardest part was probably making the tunnel and the steering. It all came out better than i had thought.

This is the actual lego snowmobile you can buy. I used the front supension and steering from this. My next project is to use the track from this on my other sled. It is a little bit wider and looks better but not as long and harder to put a working suspension on it.

as you can see the lego you buy from the store, the track is totaly backwards and upside down, and no suspension, ill change that later. LOL I feel like im always one-uping the lego company in snowmobiles. This was the first big lego snowmobile they've come out with. Ive made three already, all with working suspensions and engines (made a triple once).

Triple power!

idk, its kind of a mountain sled so you need some power, but you dont want it to be too heavy, so how about a 600cc? Sound good?
