I was wondering if anyone has an estimate of the effect of using the SD teflon secondary buttons as opposed to the stock plastic ones (for Formula secondary). As an example, I found in the past that using Black Ice helixes was roughly equal to a six degree difference (for a net effect of two degrees once the 4 deg. angle calculation diff. is accounted for) compared to an uncoated helix. so, how would using a coated helix and teflon buttons compare to a set-up made up of uncoated helix and stock buttons. thanks

I can't really help on that one because i'm wondering myself.

i just installed GoodwinPerformance Tefflon buttons with my stock 50/47 helix( uncoated ) but i will have to wait for snow before i can evaluate the difference.

My guess is it should be acting like 51/48 (+1 deg. ) on upshift and 49/46 ( -1 deg. ) backshift but im no expert in clutching dep.
