Drac 11-06-2007, 12:07 AM Hey all, just replaced my old 462 with a 583 I picked up. 583 sat for several years (3 I think) without being ran. Got everything in and no spark at all. Replaced coil and wires and completely bypassed ignition/killswitch/teather etc. Im thinking the mag needs to be cleaned but figured id ask before I pull the flywheel and start on that. Drac 11-08-2007, 12:44 AM Hmm wasn't aware they were differnt, would that create no spark at all though? 670FREAK 11-09-2007, 02:43 AM It's pretty safe to say that you should be putting ALL the electronics from the 583 in there too. nevermind the switches and that stuff until you get all the rest of that stuff in there. If still no spark then you might want to take a look into the stator and pickup coil. maybe clean 'um up a bit and check the gap of the pickup. I've had these problems before on my banshee. Always seems to come back to the stator and pickup coil..... | ||
