Did anyone else notice that the Legend V-1000 uses the same hood as Lynx does on their ZX chassis sleds for '03? Check out www.bombardier.fi

I wonder if the '04s will be using this hood? If yes I might get another MXZ 600 in the ZX next year.

I think they used it to keep the cool air off the motor so it will start better. It's a bit taller in the front too, probably better to fit the V configuration.

on the 03 zx mxz 600ho models has anybody noticed the hole and screen in the bellypan directly behind the front bumper. this model also has a different heat shield on the pipe. I got the screen kit ordered and am going to mod my sled. my heat shield is all cracked and busted up, hopefully this extra hole will somehow cure this problem of mine. I don't know if excessive heat under the hood would cause it to break apart? according to my dealer I am the only one who has this problem in my area.
