ok nothing is free but

I removed my iner clutch half on my 2001 sumit

it is heavyer than the clutch that was on my 670


they have the same angle sheve and the alinement
is the same
I estimate it to be 2lb diferance.

2lb of rotateing mass is a big diference

cant wait to try it out on the snow.

You may be asking for trouble! Many of the new twins added balancing weight to the clutch to balance the engine. You better research this before you start swaping parts from a totaly different engine.

I thought about this and considering that when
skidoo adds the electric start to the moter
the ring gear is added on to the clutch with
out doing any aditional balanceing.

so if they can add the weight with out any problems
I figure I will be ok.
