I busted 1 of the inlet hoses on the plastic round
cylinder that is mounted to the air box it is part of
the altitude compensator.

my sled is a 2001 sumit I was told that I can
run the smaller one off of the 2003

it suposedly works better.

any one done this ??

I am real new at this forum stuff never done it before..
Last year at the beginning of the riding season I broke the same off my 700. I used LOCTITE 380 instant adhesive and it held all riding season and is still holding. Hope this might help and good luck from the new guy on the block...Gary

Do what Gary said, fix it. Those things cost way too much, the smaller 03 one won't be any cheaper. Worst case scenero it breaks back off, jetting goes rich (if it's the small hose barb). No danger here.
