I have a 2000 600 XC Deluxe and one of the Keihin carbs is leaking where the brass (?) fitting is press fit into the carb for the fuel intake (I saw it spraying fuel out which created quite a mess). I can't tell if it is the fitting or interface into the carb. Do any of you know if this could be repairable? I talked to the Polaris dealer and they said I would need a new carb ($235)..... Thanks.

Heat the nipple up with a heat gun and carfully pull it out by threading a sheet metal screw into it and grip the screw head with locking pliers. Clean out the hole and roughen the nipple then glue it back in using Loctite 609 sleeve retaining compound or JB weld. There is another product called Seal All that works too.

Thanks for response, I think I found the problem, a micro hole in the hose right at the nipple. I hate that when that happens! :p
