hi, i have a 1997 mxz 670 with 3/4 inch lugs, i was just wondering if you also have to take track thickness into consideration or not. just for example when they say 1.00" and you have a 3/4" track would this mean you will have 1/4" stud length above lug. i know this is a stupid question but i would like to order the proper length since i'm getting them on the net. also, i know that you should only use studs no longer than 1/8 to 3/8" longer than your lug.

thanks for the help

No you don't have to take track thickness into account. Just measure your lug height and add 1/8".

They say to have .25-.35 of stud above lug for trail riding.

Your backing plate will add .23 to the stud height.

To find height above track: subtract lug height from stud length and then add .230

(.875-.75)+.230=.355

Should be OK.

Not many different lengths of studs at that range(.88).

I ran the 1.005 studs in mine with .880 track.
