i would just like to know if the push through studs are as good as the ones that you have to drill

I'm pretty sure you have to drill the track for push thrus. I think they get the name from the fact that the stud is "headed" & you push the stud thru the hole in the track, install the backer & fasten w/ a nut.

I don't think the T nut style are used much on the trails anymore. I think the racers still use them because they are easier to replace/swap between heats.

You have to drill the track to install push-through's.

You have to drill for all "thru track" stud installs ....
