Well guys the temps are dropping. Lots of the smaller lakes are starting to freeze up pretty good. Cooks Bay in Simcoe is almost frozen over and the main lake will be a while. We need some more patients before we can run the hard stuff. I fish a lot of smaller lakes and although the lakes are fine for walking on with a floater suit on they aren't ready for sleds. I have seen two sleds through this season already. Even today on Little Lake in Barrie people are scooting across. be safe and be prepared.

Good thing for floater suits.

W/ all the snow we got today, the lakes that had any ice will be a big slushy mess. When I came back from my ride today I was hitting slush on the stretch of Eel's Creek that we run to get to E107 from Apsley.
