Does anyone know if the engine from a '98 formula III will bolt right into the chassis of a '96 formula III. What differences would I find if any?

i`m 90% sure in what i`m gonna say.. the mounts will be the same but wasnt there a big change in the ignition and electrical circuits? if the 98 was dess with a black box and the 96 wasnt somthins gonna have to be addressed...it will work in the end but research it first.

Go to Ronnies or the BRP parts web site and compare DESS ecm part numbers to see if they are the same on both years. I will check my schematics and let you know.

Thanks for the info guys, I may just have to get my engine rebuilt, which costs about the same as buying a used sled which I was thinking about using for extra parts.
