ya know that sound at races of the engine..the one thats almost liek a dirt bike..a high pitch ...very loud... i know its some kind of mod... i just want to know how to get it out of my 440...thanks guys

That's called "No Muffler"!!!

catrules2000 is on the right track. I think a good silencer might get you the sound you are looking for. What make 440 doo you have? This way you might catch someone with some experience with the same sled or similar.

you prolly saw a sled that is something like mine(2K 440 Zx), a high revving twin. in most cases it takes more than a exhaust can to make the sound, right now there is a set of crank shop twin pipes, full race porting, and a little head work(set up for improved 400+ class) it spits out 122 horse at 9700
not a very torquey engine, but in a drag race, it will beat a stock 700 doo's every time

what type of 440 do you own? i race another stock 2001 440 Zx every once in awhile, and his sled with a little clutching work is only 2-2.5 sled lengths behind me

its a 96' xcr 440...itsd already been bored out... i notice the sound on alot of mxz's and some new polaris...i jsut love the sound haha-it'll wake the neighbors for miles and i think it adds some power ya know...

after market pipes and it dosnt end there!
