I was thinking of installling an 1157 right angle LED tail/brake light bulb in my F7, the manufacturer states it needs 13.8 volts, GLS gives the following output of the coil:
2000 rpm 80 watts
3000 rpm 175 watts
5000 rpm 220 watts
7000 rpm 230 watts
8000 rpm 235 watts
I am no genuis when it comes to volts,amps, watts etc and was wondering if this is enough juice to power the LED bulb?

The lighting coil will supply enough power to run the led lights. But the problem is that most of the LED replacements are for DC voltage. IN Cat sleds the the Lights run off of AC voltage, and will most likely will prevent the led light from working properly. You may be able to rectify the voltage, with a simple bridge rectifier but i am not sure what watage diodes you will need to use.

6miler, yea the led bulb is DC needing 13.8 volts, I have seen them in motorcycles but wasn't sure if Cat's were AC or DC, thanks that answers my question and saves me from foolishly spending 48 bucks for the light. LOL
