i ride the hill the first few rides beacuse thats usually where the snow is first...indian lake, tupper lake, and speculator once in a while , i ride VT quite a bit....the pass is 95$ but worth every penny...they do a hell of a job in that state. ive heard about pharsalia tho....i was out in binghamton this past year for the watkins glen winston cup race.....we stayed out there and went to this really cool go-kart track...damn good time!!

HEY IT's SNOWING OUT AS I WRITE AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY REV 600!....
I've been working on my trailer lighting so that is ready for inspection. It needs a couple of new marker lights and I have to replace one of the wire harnesses. Other than that it will be all set. My trailer encloser is in. I'm just waiting for the sled to finance the whole package.

Skidoorev, Who is your Nationwide insurance agent? I live in Vermont and I deal with Nationwide for all my insurance needs. They quoted me a price of $400 per year for full coverage on the new Rev. I can't believe it costs more to insure a sled in Vermont, but then again maybe it does! I'm 46 and never had a snowmobile accident. After seeing some of the insurance quotes here, I think I will be shopping.

VTsleder... My Nationwide insurance agent is Jack Snover. His number is 607-77 2-0000. I have all my insurance through him... cars, home, etc. My sister in law insures her Viper through him and only pays around $200! :D

Yeh! I did have a liking for the cat's and I actually still do. Why I switched to Ski-Doo? I was looking at two sleds when the new stuff came out last spring. The Firecat's looked cool at first, but when I had a chance to sit on one and compare it to the rev. The rev's fit and finish was more appealing to me. I'm sure the Firecat's will perform very well, but for me it wasn't just about how fast the sled will be. I was looking for comfort, handling, good power and something eye appealing as well. I'm sure the F5's or F7's and the 600 Ho will all be very fast. I was more impresssed with the versatility of the Rev over the F Cat's and I also felt it was more comfortable. When the Firecat's first came out you couldn't get reverse at first. Now I'm hearing you can get a reverse kit with them. Still, the RER on the Doo's is really cool. I'm also getting the 2-up option with the Rev for my kids and with this I still have a sport sled and not a touring tank. If you haven't had a chance to sit on a firecat, sit on one and I think you will agree that the fit and finish and appeal from the riders point of view on the Rev's is all over the Firecat's in my opinion. To me the firecat's look like what they were intended for, a racer! With the Rev you have a better and more comlete package. That's why I made the switch. I may still keep my ZL600 though as a spare and second sled for other friends and family members to ride. It's been a good sled for me.
