This is a concensus of weather people. The first front will probably miss us on Saturday giving us maybe a little snow and lower our temps up here. The second front could end up a real storm in the north but it is too early to tell for sure. Right now it will be snow up here and rain down state followed by falling temps all over. Our highs will end up in the low 20's. This will hit Sunday night sometime.
Will keep you updated.

December Storm 3 update !!! !!! !!!
It was announced that we will get between 6 & 12" of wet heavy snow starting as early as Saturday night. The timing might be off just a bit, but that is the best guess right now. After the system snow is finished it will be followed by heavy lake effect snow for two days !!! !!! !!! Falling temps will come in after the system passes.
Our groomer will be running tomorrow night and Sunday morning in hopes of packing the snow as soon as it is falling and before the below freezing temps hit.
Our groomer ran tonite and reported great conditions on 41 as usual.

We are now under a winter snow advisory. They figure the snow will start here on Sunday afternoon and last through the night.
We have been foggy all day with 100% humidity. In Manistique it was a drizzle; out here when you are moving the windshield gets wet. Not rain, not drizzle; just wet, heavy, fog.
I am glad there hasn't been a lot of sled traffic in the warmer weather. Nothing is getting beaten up.

I am getting very few reports on what is going to happen with the weather. For sure; temps will fall and we will get some snow. How much??? How long???? Only high wind advisories are up. No snow advisories right now. No warnings on snow right now.
Could it be they just aren't sure? Guess we just wait and see for ourselves.
Sorry about this.

We are under a heavy snow advisory! Where I plowed was all washed out, but the other areas have about a foot. The fresh snow is rather light, but is covering those bare spots. Sounds like we will be freshining up everything soon. We are below 20 degrees now, and snow is in the forcast for the next five days and highs about 30. With a little luck we should be in really good shape right after Christmas. We are rideable now.
