I'm looking to get a little more "zing" out of my stock 1997 xlt. I was thinking clutchs, if so which should I go with and should I change both clutchs or can i get away with changing just the primary?

Clutch kit....gearing would help low to mid range. DON'T mess with the engine unless you have money to fix it. The 600 tripple is know for breaking cranks with things like pipes.

A light weight track also seem's to do wonders for them.

All a clutch kit is is the secondary spring and helix. The primary part may have new weights but it WILL also come with primaryspring...and sometimes a second primary spring to change the engaugement RPM.

There are a bunch of companys that make good kit's. The only one I have had bad luck with is the EPI. I belive Black Magic and a few other company make good ones. Best bang for your buck.
