I really feel this first "rain" is not going to hit here. The cats are not on their heads! Plus, the only time it could rain is during the day. Radar doesn't show that to me. Unless something different happens tonite, our lows are in the teens. Mind you, I'm not on one of the big lakes where it will be warmer.

Another factor. If it is cloudy, that will help keep the trails.

Right now our trails are excellent and have just been groomed again.

IF we get that second storm or not; the temps are going to fall like a rock. Supposedly we will get quite a bit of snow out of this one that will repair any damage that MIGHT take place. We do have a lot of snow. Yes it has settled and packed, but there is a lot out there.

I know how "hell week" has been in the past; I just don't see it happening this year.

I haven't missed so far this year and I came very close on the first storm date. It was a little late so my wife could make it back from down state without fighting the weather. lol

I wouldn't have bought all this gas if I thought the holiday week was going to be a wash-out.
