Hey guys, I'm attempting to transplant a ZL 500 skid underneath my 1979 Yamaha Exciter. Not sure how well it will work. Any ways my question is how do i go about tuning it once it is in there. I see the front and rear are adjustable, but I've never worked with any thing that's you can tune. Also any pointers on how to make it fit would be great. It's 1/2" wider then my tunnel at the mounting points.

It won't fit... your track is too short, unless your changing that too!
The ZL skid is for a 121" track.
