He is definately from Carrington, ND and may be moving to Wasilla, AK.
In the middle of Oct. 2007 Mark let me know he had most of an XLT engine that was salvageable. He said he would sell me basically everything - carb to exhaust, clutch to recoil, plus the wiring harness/cdi for $160 Shipped. Now I had heard of previous issues with him dealing with others, but considered him an internet - "friend". I figured no way would this POS be stupid enough to screw a web admin. Anyways, I was surprised he wanted so little (2nd hint)- he said it'd be no problem to ship it, oh it'd be so easy no big deal. It took me a couple days to send the money but he got it sometime late Oct. I know this becuase he cashed the check on Oct. 29 -

That's the back of my check. Notice he signed it over so someone named "Scott" with a # after it? Anyone have any idea what that number is for? Probably some convict # or something. Anyways... a few days goes by everything's ok.... about the middle of Nov. I start asking "Hey get it shipped yet" etc... I wasn't in a huge hurry for it just yet anyways. On or about Nov. 25 is when he said he shipped it. He said it got returned over and over from DHL, one reason or another. Excuse after excuse. Then he told me he spent $75 to use his work's inter-state parts delivery service (Boo f'n hoo) to ship it to me. When I asked which store I was supposed to pick it up at, he couldn't remember the name... then said it was being shipped to the return address from the envelope that I sent the check from. That's my work, and I work in an office. Gee thanks. By this time it's about Dec. 10th, I'm supposed to have my engine that day. Well, surprise surprise it doesn't show, I get a PM from him telling me that he almost got fired for sending it that way, the engine's in Minneapolis, blah blah blah. He said he'd send the check that upcoming friday (the 14th) and when he gets the engine he'll send that too becuase he feels so bad. He's so sorry. I said OK - I'm still trying to be cool with this. I know people have hard times or bad stuff happens. As of today I have not received my check. He has not been on my site since Dec. 13th, but was on MSN on Friday. He logged in twice and completely ignored both IMs I sent to him. I then sent him and email letting him know that further steps would be taken and he had 24 hours to get back to me.
Here we are on Monday (Christmas Eve) and I have to sit here and write a thread for the sole purpose of ****ing somoene that ****s people all over the net. As far as I'm concerned he can jump off a bridge and no one would frickin care. Actually, I hope that he runs his damn truck off the road, falls into a ditch and writhes in agony for 4 days and dies 30 seconds before someone finds him. Not that it matters - if someone found him dying they'd probably spit on his face - even a 4 year old girl.
