i had just put pipes and a can on my sled now i took it out for about two hours and the chain case blew up bottom just dissapered now when i took it apart i found that the top bearing was gone but my silencer is touching the chain case tight fit now would it have heated up that much or is it ok to be touching anybody thx

Heat in the chain case is going to introduce several factors, none of them desirable. However, without knowing the condition of the chain - and other parts- to begin with, it is impossible to say whether "heat" was the cause. I would try to get the heat thing corrected however.

fixed that problem now have exhaust leak all over the place from flanges just found out came off a wedge style chassis has no power sucking in all the fummes gotta go back to stock oh well
machine really big bag in powder its good until you get in then it like loses all the power dont know what the deal is had problem with last motor too anybody have a solution

Sounds like the problem is in the clutching when you get into the powder. I had the same problem with my 94 Storm. I solved mine by adjusting the secondary clutch to match the belt width. Belt was slightly worn and was not back shifting properly.

thanks storm rider adjusted my clutch works great then i found out that some dick head had the jets all messed up but i think i got it now runs great gotta love the triples

storm rider would you happen to know what the needles should be set at in these machines so they dont blow up mine are in the middle now i lowerd the needle one and it ran better just dont want to lean it out so it blows up set it back to middle now if you got an answer let us know
