hello i am new to this site and like alot of people am looking for some help. The problem is this on my 06 fusion 600 my det light keeps going off no matter what type of fuel I use. I realize that there is different stages to this sensor, it starts going off around 6500/7000 rpm, I have had it replaced once well they said they did it, but problem still exists. The other thing that it does is it will just shut off and no spark, unplug the temp sensor wires then will fire briefly then die, sled is around 140 deg when this happens, did it the other day twice. Any suggestions or opinions are greatly appreciated.

You have at least 3-4 recalls that need tobe done to your sled. Take it back to your dealer and have them done, have them switch the black box on the side of your air box with a known good one and try it, if that doesn't work try the stator, also move the coil to the top right side of your air box, your coil wires are getting chewed up from the thermostat housing.

thank you I will. I had it in before because of the same problem and they said they replaced the sensor and that it should be good. A good freind of mine who is also a mechanic also said that it could be a stator or coil problem. I will try this and let you know. Thank you for the input, like I said any and all opinions help.
