Today i drove around 20 miles on a brand new f1000 lxr. It was running fine until i started it up for a 2nd run at night. I started the machine and after about 5 seconds i noticed the RPM's going up and up all the way to 5000 rpm's (without me touching the sled) Then the sled began to move and i quickly jumped on and slammed the brakes. The machine shutoff on its own. I tried starting it up agan and now it wont start. It starts for about half a second and died immediatly. Pull starting wont work either. If anyone knows what this could be or has any advice please let me know. Thanks

What do you mean the pull starter won,t work? The sled will not start or you can not pull it?

Obviously the sled is under warranty. I'd load it & get it to the dealer. If you start monkeying w/ it trying to fix it they may not want to cover any repairs.

Hello, Mine did the exact same thing tonight?? Won't start unless you just barely hold the throttle and pull start it but then dies right away. Started once, reved it up then backfired and stalled again, has 1300 miles on it and I am stumped!! I think I may have fouled the plugs or flooded it now. Have you found out what the problem was with yours yet?? Would greatly appreciate the help!! Thanks
