Im going to redoo the primary and secondary on my rmk. I was watching a segment on mountain mod mania nr 3 about a company that uses titanium springs .

I was just wondering if any of the good people on sw have installed these, and what their opionen of these spring are, are they worth the extra money u pay for them ?

Any feedback would really help, thanks...........

You can buy a lot of silicon alloy steel springs for what one Titanium spring sells for and the service life is not what is advertised. They are very close to their specification and stay there longer than steel but for my money I would use steel springs and replace them when I service my clutch. Just my 2 cents.

I have not used one. The advantage they have, is that they do not lose they tension over time, sack out, like a regular steel spring. No performance advantage comparing a new titanium to a new steel spring. If you ride alot, especially in the deep powder out west, then it may make sense. The disadvantage is that they cost $100+. It's a good idea to replace your primary ( steel) spring every 3 years, or so, due to the spring sack. So it's $20-$25 every three for me, by the time I get close to the titanuim price, it's new sled time.
