Just wondering if anyone can tell me if Scugog is safe to ride on yet? Was thinking of heading up that way this weekend.

Thanks guys.

People have been running the lake for a while. I was there about 3-4 weeks ago & it was 6inches then. I don't think there is any snow on the lake. The trail north of the nonquan river is open & most of the heart of ontario's trails except the beaverton trail are open.

Has anyone run the lake from Port Perry up to Seagrave the last couple of days?

Cold temps only moved in this Sunday so expect open water.

I not sure on how thick it is but there was cars & trucks on the lake  I ran the lake from the Nonquan River to town & I felt pretty safe running that area. I know alot of people are running the lake to the sand bar. Looks like there is 4-6 inches of snow on the lake. I still don't think it is safe to run the whole lake.

Last Thursday I rode from the causeway up to Seagrave. Trucks out on the lake. Be careful as I've heard the pressure ridge is forming west of Goreski's.
